Overview
This guide describes the steps required to configure Trend Micro Apex One telemetry and response integrations in Samurai XDR.
To create these Integrations you will need to perform actions in Trend Micro Apex One followed by configuration in Samurai XDR:
Trend Micro Apex One Credentials
- Create a new Automation API for Samurai XDR to communicate with.
Samurai XDR → Telemetry Integration
Create a new Samurai XDR Telemetry Integration for Trend Micro Apex One, providing the credentials configured above.
Samurai XDR → Response Integration
Create a new Samurai XDR Response Integration for Trend Micro Apex One, providing the credentials configured above.
Trend Micro Apex One Credentials
Sign in to Trend Micro Apex One at: https://YOUR_SUBDOMAIN.manage.trendmicro.com
Navigate to Automation API Access Settings
Click Add
Create new Automation API access
Provide an Application name
Ensure that you copy the API URL, Application ID and API key for later use.
Click Save.
Configure the Integration in Samurai XDR
Trend Micro Apex One - Telemetry Integration
To create a new Trend Micro Apex One Telemetry integration you will need the following information:
A name for your new integration. This will be displayed on the Telemetry → Integrations screen.
An optional description for your integration. This can be useful if you connect multiple products or instances of the same product.
The API URL, Application ID and API key previously saved Automation API Access Settings.
Sign in to Samurai XDR and select Telemetry → Integrations from the main menu:
Click on the Create button:
Select Trend Micro Apex One from the available Integrations:
In addition to the name and optional description, please provide the Application ID, API Key and Base URL recorded earlier in Trend Micro Apex One. Click Next:
Click Test and Samurai XDR will reach out to Trend Micro Apex One to validate the credentials provided:
When the Test has passed, the Finish button is enabled, click it to save your new Integration:
Samurai XDR will redirect you to the Telemetry Integrations screen where it will be visible:

To create a new Trend Micro Apex One Response integration you will need the following information:

An optional description for your integration. This can be useful if you connect multiple products or instances of the same product.

Click on the Create button:
Select Trend Micro Apex One from the available Integrations:
