Overview
This guide describes the steps required to configure a 1Password telemetry integration in Samurai XDR.
To create this Integration you will need to perform actions in 1Password followed by configuration in Samurai XDR:
1Password Credentials
- Add an Events Reporting integration:
- Issue and save an API token
Samurai XDR → Telemetry Integration
Create a new Samurai XDR Telemetry Integration for 1Password, providing the credentials configured above.
1Password Credentials
Sign in to 1Password at: https://YOUR_SUBDOMAIN.1password.com/signin
Add an Events Reporting integration
Select Integrations from the menu and click Directory:
Then select Other from Events Reporting:
Set a System Name for the integration, and click Add Integration:
Issue and save an API token
The next tab is Set up token.
Provide a Token Name, set Expires After to Never and ensure that all three sliders are enabled for the Events to Report. Then click Issue Token:
The last tab is Save Token. Optionally you click on Save in 1Password to persist the token into one of your 1Password vaults.
Ensure that you copy the token for later use using the button to the right of the token or refer back to it within 1Password later if you saved it to a vault. It will be needed when configuring the new telemetry integration in Samurai XDR.
Optionally, click View Integration Details to see how the new Events Reporting integration is displayed:

For future access, your Events Reporting integration is located through the Active button from the same Integrations menu item accessed in the first step.
Configure the Integration in Samurai XDR
To create a new 1Password integration you will need the following information:
A name for your new integration. This will be displayed on the Telemetry → Integrations screen.
An optional description for your integration. This can be useful if you connect multiple products or instances of the same product.
The API token previously saved from your Event Reporting integration in 1Password
The Base URL corresponding to the relevant region for your 1Password account.
Sign in to Samurai XDR and select Telemetry → Integrations from the main menu:
Click on the Create button:
Select 1Password Business from the available Integrations:
In addition to the name and optional description, please provide the API Token recorded earlier in 1Password, and select the relevant region Base URL for your 1Password account. Click Next:
Click Test and Samurai XDR will reach out to 1Password to validate the credentials provided:
When the Test has passed, the Finish button is enabled, click it to save your new Integration:
Samurai XDR will redirect you to the Telemetry Integrations screen where it will be visible:
